About this event

We are excited to announce the details of our second event in Toronto. This event will be hosted virtually and occur on October 19th at 9 pm EST.

We are thrilled to have Jim Moffit, a Staff Partner Engineer at Twitter and, Nashin Mahtani, the Director of Yayasan Peta Bencana (Disaster Map Foundation), join us as special guests. Jim and Nashin will showcase why Twitter is a go-to communication channel for early-warning and crowd-sourced systems and how it is being used to save lives in the event of severe weather. This session will include examples of Twitter integrations, a walkthrough of the life-saving platform PetaBencana and a real-time demo of Twitter APIs.

This event is open to all data enthusiasts in any city. To register, please RVSP.
