Gotta Start Somewhere - Twitter API 101 Lightning Workshop

Come and learn how to get started with the Twitter API and start programmatically Tweeting and querying Tweets.  No experience necessary.

Using Contextual Census and Advertising Data with Twitter to Predict Behavior

Toby Hopp and Chris Vargo, both faculty at CU Boulder, will present methods on how to marry Twitter data with contextual data, such as Census Data, Advertising Expenditure Data and DMA data. The talk will include Pythonic overviews of the data mining techniques, computer assisted content analysis methods and the casual analytics used to infer results.

Ads API: Why and How  

This talk will provide an introduction to Twitter's Ads API, covering everything you need to get started. We'll describe ads entities and how they relate to one another and provide details on the API's endpoints. Along the way, we'll highlight things to keep in mind.

• Treats and drinks will be served after the last presentation.


Directions: We'll be meeting at the new Boulder Twitter offices at 1301 Walnut Street (floor 4) in downtown Boulder. There is a parking structure one block east of the office above the bus station at Walnut Street and 14th Street, with an entrance east of the bus station on Walnut.
